Florin Marinescu, PhD – researcher within the Centre for Neohellenic Research in Athens (Greece), the best in the field on Romanian archives on Mount Athos – has published several volumes of documents within the archives of Athonite monasteries, some of them in collaboration with Petronel Zahariuc, as well as many studies and articles, starting from the Romanian documentary treasure kept on the Holy Mountain; in 2007, he published a synthesis of Romanians’ history: Românii. Istorie si civilizaţie, Iolkos Publishing House, Athens (in Greek).
