Team

At this point, the project team comprises seven researchers. Four of the members are experienced in the research and editing of Romanian medieval and pre-modern documents, while two of them are post-doctoral researchers and one of them is a master student. Along with Petronel Zahariuc, the project leader, the following persons are part of this project: 2. Gheorghe Lazăr, PhD, principal researcher, “N. Iorga” Institute of History, one of the best Romanian specialists on social history and one of the main editors of the collection DRH, B; 3. Laurenţiu Rădvan, PhD, Professor at the Faculty of History, one of the top Romanian specialists on urban history, who wrote important books and studies published in the country and abroad; 4. Cătălina-Elena Chelcu, PhD, researcher III, “A.D. Xenopol” Institute of History (PhD in History since 2010, with a paper on Moldavian cultural history in the 17th century), a member in the editorial board of the DRH collection, A; 5. Elena Bedreag, PhD, research assistant at the “N. Iorga” Institute of History, (PhD in History since 2013, with a paper on the history of families in Moldavia in the 17th–18th centuries), member in the editorial board of the DRH collection, B; 6. Ioan-Augustin Guriţă, PhD, teaching assistant at the Faculty of History, (PhD in History since 2013, with a paper on the Moldavian metropolitan Gavril Calimachi) who already started editing documents of the 17th–19th centuries; 7. the MA student Silvia Amănălăchioaie (graduate of the Faculty of History as valedictorian, with a graduation paper on the history of Sturdza family in the 17th century). In addition, our Bulgarian colleagues Ivan Biliarsky and Dimiter Peev, also Florin Marinescu (Greece), will be collaborators in the project; insofar as the legislation allows it, they can be project members for a few months, on the vacant position.
